Almost all faculty in the Chemistry Department have continuing research projects in which we involve students. Each year we average 5-15 students participating the in Research Apprentice Program with several additional students serving as mentors. The program is an opportunity for you to explore what research in chemistry is all about. You may even find it changes your perspective on research and your career direction.

Don Fox Scholarship
Don Fox Scholarship was established by former 体育菠菜大平台 Chemistry professor, Dr. Donald E. Fox, to provide financial aid to a second semester freshman who is a major or minor in chemistry and enrolled in organic chemistry. Selection shall be based upon academic achievement, financial need, integrity, and motivation. The application form is part of the returning students scholarship process. Apply within MyBlue.
Chemistry Department Scholarship
This is a one-time scholarship for incoming freshmen who are majoring in Chemistry. The scholarship ranges from $500-$1000.
Eligible first-year 体育菠菜大平台 students may submit a single application for this scholarship as well as others they may qualify for on MyBLUE between September 1 and February 28 at 11:59pm CST. Incoming freshmen must be admitted to 体育菠菜大平台 to apply.
